Content+Cloud achieves seventh Microsoft Advanced Specialisation – Calling for Microsoft Teams

Content+Cloud has been awarded the Microsoft Advanced Specialisation in Calling for Microsoft Teams – the seventh advanced specialisation we have achieved. This makes Content+Cloud one of only 25 Microsoft partners in the UK to hold seven or more of these hard-won awards.

Advanced specialisations are awarded to Microsoft partners who can demonstrate a particularly deep understanding and expertise in a specific Microsoft technology area.

What is the Calling for Microsoft Teams Advanced Specialisation?

The Calling for Microsoft Teams Advanced Specialisation is awarded to partners, by Microsoft, that meet a specific set of criteria in relation to deploying Teams Calling services. One of the key criteria is to be serving a minimum of 2,500 active monthly users – at Content+Cloud we’re currently serving around 90,000 users a month through direct routing.

This advanced specialisation is only awarded to partners who have a Microsoft Gold Cloud Productivity competency. Because of this, it means Content+Cloud is able to offer clients innovative cloud solutions and to securely deploy Microsoft 365 services.

What is a Microsoft Teams call?

Calling is a cloud-based telephony service within Microsoft Teams. It enables users to make calls regardless of where they are and what device they are using at the time. Teams Calling is a modern solution to hybrid working that provides businesses and users with:

  • Audio conferencing
  • Cloud-hosted voicemails
  • Call recording
  • Call queuing

If you have a hybrid workforce, or one that’s on the move, then Microsoft Teams Calling is a great way to provide flexibility and cost savings, with all the features you’d expect from your standard business phone system.

You can access Teams Calling if you have a Microsoft 365 Business Voice plan, or a Microsoft 365 E5 plan for larger enterprises.
