Content+Cloud shortlisted for National Technology Awards 2022
The shortlist for this year’s National Technology Awards has been announced – and we’re delighted that Content+Cloud is nominated for two of the prizes.
The shortlist for the annual awards, organised by National Technology News (NTN), places Content+Cloud in the running for Best Enterprise Tech Project and Digital Transformation of the Year.
NTN describes the National Technology Awards as the most comprehensive celebration of technology on the calendar. The winners will be revealed at a ceremony at the London Marriott Hotel on 26 May.

So, what are the awards Content+Cloud is up for? Here’s a bit more on our nominations:
Best Enterprise Tech Project: rolling out an enterprise intranet solution
One of our clients – a huge enterprise providing services and consultancy – faced a challenge. How could it keep its vast, internationally dispersed workforce informed and engaged?
A key strategic objective for the business was to find a solution that enabled them to work, share information and communicate effectively and securely. With Microsoft 365 tools already embedded, the client needed a digital workplace solution that would be compatible with their existing ways of working, and be flexible and scalable to meet their global needs.
The solution was Fresh, our enterprise intranet and digital workplace product. Fresh gives organisations a fully customisable intranet that’s built on Microsoft 365. Working with the client, we delivered a globally accessible enterprise intranet by:
- Augmenting the delivery team with a DevOps team made up of our solutions architects and developers
- Rolling out instances to each tenant
- Providing technical governance and oversight
- Supporting with subscriptions and regular product updates
For the client, this was a project where no step could be missed, yet time was of the essence. Not only was the enterprise intranet rolled out on time, but the client tells us that the solution has been incredibly well received in each of its regions and businesses.
Digital Transformation of the Year: migrating to cloud-first
Following an acquisition, our client – operating in the education sector – needed help with a complex separation of its business from the previous parent company to the new.
With a huge number of staff and servers to migrate, and a challenging timeframe in which to deliver the change, the project needed an experienced partner. Content+Cloud was brought in to help deliver a seamless transition to a cloud-first end state.
We were able to help our client with a comprehensive set of activities to ensure a smooth migration experience. These included:
- Designing and building the Micorosft 365 tenant and Active Directory
- Data, user and application server migration
- Secure desktop and endpoint rollout
- Design, admin and support documentation
- Support with user adoption
- Early-life support post migration
The result? The migration was completed on schedule – we even helped them overcome some additional challenges with access rights on the source tenant.
